A really easy way to make stuffed peppers on the stove! It has beef, rice, tomato sauce, and melted cheese.

Stuffed peppers are yummy but take time. This skillet recipe is easier. Bell peppers are filled with beef, rice, and sauce, then baked. But this version cooks all in one pan!

First, cook beef, onions, and peppers. Add garlic, tomato paste, paprika, salt, and pepper. Pour in diced tomatoes, broth, rice, and seasoning. Let it simmer until rice is soft. Then add Worcestershire sauce, Parmesan, and top with mozzarella until melted.

Ingredients:

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 cup diced onion
  • 2 cups diced bell pepper
  • 3 cloves chopped garlic
  • 2 tbsp tomato paste
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp pepper
  • 1 can diced tomatoes
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 cup long-grain rice
  • 2 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella

Directions:

Cook beef until browned, then set aside.

Cook onions and peppers until soft.

Add garlic, tomato paste, paprika, salt, and pepper. Cook for a minute.

Pour in diced tomatoes, broth, rice, beef, and Italian seasoning. Simmer for 20 minutes.

Mix in Worcestershire sauce and Parmesan. Top with mozzarella until melted.

Options:

  • Add red pepper flakes for heat.
  • Use marinara sauce instead of diced tomatoes.
