Delicious Irish Skillet Potatoes Recipe
Simple Recipe for Irish Skillet Potatoes
I like making these potatoes with my corned beef when I don't want boiled potatoes. They're really easy to make and taste delicious. They're also good as leftovers with a fried egg on top!
Serves: 4 to 6 people Preparation Time: 10 minutes
Ingredients:
- 2 large Russet potatoes, thinly sliced
- 1 tablespoon of caraway seeds
- 2 tablespoons of dried parsley
- 4 tablespoons of green onions, thinly sliced
- 2 cloves of garlic, sliced
- ½ stick of butter, sliced
- Salt and pepper to taste
Steps:
- Arrange the potato slices in a circle in a skillet or a pie pan.
- Spread butter, seasoning, and garlic on top of the potatoes.
- Bake at 425 degrees Fahrenheit for 20 minutes. Check to make sure they're not burning. Cook until the bottom is crispy.
- Garnish with green onions.
These potatoes are perfect for my Corned Beef and Cabbage Sandwich!
